This graduation project pays tribute to a very special person: Anna, my late godmother. It echoes our peasant roots, the years at the farm, the hard labour, my childhood memories, her eccentric and pious personality, her love for Fats Domino, her taste made of overloaded floral associations, clashes and golden sheens.

Fabrics recycle that heritage and literally aim at extracting a beauty often left unseen. Satin evokes that kitschy bling-bling while transgressing formal menswear codes. The embroidered symbol comes from the shared memory of a four-leaf clover. The rest is a creative take-off.
